OUR MISSION

Through art, design, education, hospitality, sustainable operations, and community collaboration, Curated transforms ordinary moments into opportunities for reflection, participation, and meaningful connection.

Philosophy

We create conditions for reflection, participation, and meaningful connection.

Care

We design with people, not simply for them.

Care means listening closely, reducing barriers, respecting different ways of participating, and considering how each decision affects the people involved.

Stewardship

We treat materials, time, money, energy, knowledge, and human capacity as resources worthy of attention.

We prioritize repair, reuse, maintenance, clarity, and thoughtful growth over unnecessary replacement, waste, and expansion.

Begin with what is already here.

Every person, place, object, and organization carries knowledge.

Before introducing something new, we pay attention to the materials, relationships, histories, abilities, and systems already present.

This allows us to create work that is responsive rather than imposed, accessible rather than exclusive, and sustainable rather than temporary.

Two practices. One shared vision.

Curated was co-founded by Kristin Pfeiffer and Rainey King.

Rainey is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, curator, and experience designer whose work fuses creativity, sustainability, storytelling, hospitality, and community engagement.

Kristin is an educator, systems coach, and operational strategist who helps organizations improve workflows, manage resources, prepare teams, and build systems that can endure & sustain.

Together, they design what people experience—and what makes it possible.
